PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
· Participation at Um ar Rassas project in Jordan in 2017. Um ar Rassas is a world heritage site and the project included the documentation and conservation of the mosaics of the twin Churches in the site and the training of local staff on the methods and the materials used for conserving and preserving an archaeological site. The work at Um ar Rassas was part of my final dissertation for my University. (January - April 2017).    
· Participation in the excavation of a shipwreck at Modi Island, Poros, in October of 2016. TheexcavationwasheldbytheI.EN.A.E.with head archaeologist Mr. Christos Agouridis. The frame work was the application of first aid conservation treatments on the objects retrieved from the seabed, their photographic documentation and the creation of conservation documents for each object, under the supervision of the responsible conservator Mrs. Spyridoula Papanikou and Mr. Angelos Tsompanidis on the field.
· Participation in the South Euboean archaeological research, which was held by E.E.A. and the I.EN.A.E.under the supervision of head archaeologist Mr. George Koutsouflakis in July of 2016. The frame work was the application of first aid conservation treatments on the objects retrieved from the seabed, their photographic documentation and the creation of conservation documents for each object, under the supervision of the responsible conservator, Mr. Angelos Tsompanidis.
· Participation in the Fourni Island archaeological research, which was held by E.E.A. and the R.P.M., under the supervision of head archaeologist Mr. George Koutsouflakis in June of 2016. The frame work was the application of first aid conservation treatments on the objects retrieved from the seabed, their photographic documentation and the creation of conservation documents for each object, under the supervision of the responsible conservator, Mr.AngelosTsompanidis.
· Practical work for six months at the Euphoria of Underwater Antiquities. During these six months, artifacts made of clay, stone, metal and wood were conserved. ( April – September 2016)
· Conservation of a metal handrail in an interior stair at the old Acropol hotel in Athens, under the supervision of Mrs. Amalia Siatou, conservator of antiquities and works of art (December 2015).
· Voluntary work in the conservation lab at Palaikastro in Crete on conserving ceramics, under the supervision of Mrs. Eftihia Anapliotou , conservator of antiquities and works of art (September 2015). 
· Voluntary work for 6 weeks on the archaeological site at Mochlos Island in Crete. The frame work was the in situ consolidation of the walls of the prehistoric settlement and the documentation of the state of the settlements preservation, under the supervision of Dr. Stefania Chlouveraki. The project was also supervised by the Institute of Aegean Prehistory- Study Center of East Crete and an excavation of the University of North Carolina at the Minoan site of Mochlos (July-August 2015).


CONFERENCES


· Participation in the annual student symposium of archaeology in Turkey which took place in Karabuk University in March of 2016. The title of my presentation was: ‘’ MOSAICS: Technology of construction, pathology and conservation examples’’.

· Participation in the conference <<Conservation of our cultural heritage: challenges and redefinitions>> which was organized by the Department of Conservation of Ancient and Earlier Monuments and the Department of Conservation of Antiquities and Works of Art of T.E.I. of Athens in May of 2015.
· Participation in the workshop <<We conserve museum objects>> which was organized by the industrial museum of gas. The aim of the workshop was to inform children aged 8-12 and their families, by students, for conservation treatments, the materials, the equipment which conservators use and the importance of conserving museum artifacts.
